There is a reason why the LRC is such a popular venue; the LRC combines library services with IT-based information and multimedia sources. Making your way around the library is easy, consisting of three floors, each floors are neatly organized to house study materials for every subject. There are information points in every floor where staff are available to help students to get the most out of the sources.
The best service the LRC provides is that you don’t have to be in the LRC to enjoy the services they have. For instance, you can check loans and renew loans online and even postal service for the photocopies of journal you requested. Besides study materials in the LRC, there are still ample of electronic journals and ebooks.
Plus, there are efficiently working scanners and printers located in every floor. No fuss, no congestion at all.

Student Union

The student union is the place to be if you want to catch a quick lunch or just want to sit and relax a long day of lectures. There’s a student union shop where you can get snacks, basic stationery and other miscellaneous items. The Studio Café in second floor offers affordable and wholesome meal. If you fancy a beer or wanted to gather with university mates, the Terrnce Bar is a nice place to hang out. On the top floor is The Hub where it goes alive in the nights. I personally was happy that The Hub is strictly for students only, there’re responsible coordinators around The Hub, The Terrance Bar and the entrance of the Student Union to make sure everything is under control.

The Student Union Reception is also the place you go to whenever you need information, directions or is looking for a job. There is a job centre in the Student Union where u can enquire and get advises on getting a part time job. The main reception in Student Union also provides binding and laminating services at a reasonable price. How convenient is that.
